On Sunday 1st October, 2000, the biggest pyrotechnic spectacular the world had seen ignited in the skies above Sydney, to mark the closing of the Sydney Olympics.

The production management of the 2000 Olympic closing ceremonies "River of Lightning" was conducted by Banks Events for David Atkins enterprises.
